“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.”— Edgar Degas
Before I paint, I do nothing.Or rather… I become quiet. I listen .I feel.I go down to that inner space where everything is born before it exists.
It’s not immediate. Not productive. Not even visible. But that’s where everything begins.
There is a world moving inside me, like a quiet ocean starting to stir.I feel a subject calling me, without knowing why yet. Lately, the feminine has been insisting. Not a decorative or empty feminine. But a feminine that is inhabited, connected, and fully alive.
These women, I sense them before I see them. They carry something of the invisible. They know how to dream with the world. They are in tune with the unseen, and they attract what they long for — as if their very presence opens a door.
I believe that’s what true creative power is. It’s an act of alliance between our inner world and the invisible. A bridge between our deep desires and what life whispers for us to bring into form.
So I take my time. I wait. I draw sketches, I look for images, I gather fragments that echo my feelings. But most of the creation happens within. A deeper part of me — what I sometimes call my “greater self” — is already at work.It dreams, it shapes, it selects what wants to be born.
And one day, I just know. The moment has arrived.
So I paint.
And it feels as if the canvas already remembers.
💫 In Conclusion
To create is to trust the slow, quiet gestation of the invisible. It is to honor the intuitive, sensual, visionary feminine within — the one who feels before knowing, welcomes before doing, and dreams before acting.
And maybe, through my paintings, I am simply giving a face to these mirror-women…These women of the source, who remind us that power is born in the unseen, and that everything begins with a dream.
